A preliminary list of amphibian species identified at the Fly Gap Division of Double Helix Ranch, Mason County, Texas. This list is a work in progress.

Bufonidae Bufo speciosus Texas Toad Formerly common in area; now rarely observed
Bufonidae Bufo valliceps/nebulifer Coastal Plains Toad Fairly common, and apparently increasing; breeds in ponds
Bufonidae Bufo woodhousii Woodhouse's Toad Common until 1998; relatively few individuals found breeding since then (on ranch); breeds in ponds and creeks
